Breeding traps are ideal for fish to breed in, isolating agressive (for example betta splendens) or weak fish. They are are suitable for pregnant live bearers to give birth to their baby fry in.

There is a compartment for the adults and a removable shelf which has holes that allow the babies to fall through into the bottom of the trap.

Also great for sick or injured fish as you can keep them in there until they have recovered.

The hatchery has side and bottom vents to allow optimum water flow. Warm, oxygenated water from main aquarium enters the breeding box through the slatted sides.

Supplied with lid and partition shelf, and also includes suckers for attaching to the inside of the aquarium.

This larger model also comes with a partition for the top section so you can keep two adults / bettas / sick / pregnant fish separately
