This is a pair of square 5/8" x 5/8" cufflinks with abalone shell inlay sections. Only one of the cufflinks is stamped "925 Hecho en Mex, Taxco" with some initials inside the circle. I am having trouble deciphering the initials: could be PBK or PAK or PRY, or PBP, they are partially worn away. Only the squares are sterling; the clip arms and rotating stem are not sterling. One of the abalone sections  is more recessed and pockmarked than the others (the upper right section on the left cufflink in first photo. It is not obtrusive, just slightly different and I wanted to mention it. Some tarnish and normal surface wear throughout. In used but good pre-owned condition, flaws as noted.
