This listing is for a very special tricycle built to look like a horse. I can ship it anywhere in the world by taking it apart and shipping it in 2 or 3 separate boxes using Priority Mail International from the Unites States Postal Service. I am listing this item here because I have had my fun with it and it is now time to it to go to another home. If it sells, that is fine with me. I really like it so if does not sell, that is OK too.

It is missing the handle bars and I believe the bridle and mane. The black leather ears are replacements. All of the paint on this toy is still original and in nice condition. That includes the paint on the body parts, saddle, wheel rims, rear wheel step and other smaller parts. The paint on this fine toy has not been touched up at all.

All three of the tires are cracked so I would like to upgrade them if possible. The cute eyes are recent additions before I bought this very rare toy. There is some very minor rust on the nickel plated cranks on the front wheel. It could be polished off with steel wool but I like that patina so I will not disturb it at all.

The last photo of this listing is NOT of this tricycle. It is of a similar one that still has it's original red handle bars that were bent from solid steel rod about 3/8" in diameter. I have include this photo for reference purposes only in hopes you might have or know where I might get the correct handle bars for the horse tricycle I am offering here.

I am also interested in getting better original tires for this very special tricycle. All 3 tires are semi-pneumatic rubber tires made by the Ohio Rubber Company or "ORCO" as you can see in a couple of the photos. The front tire is a 16 x 1.25 while the pair of rear tires are 10 x 1.25. Please help me upgrade the broken tires on this tricycle if you possibly can. I would love to find NOS or nice used tires but I would consider buying an old tricycle just to get the correct matching tires from it if need be.

I am hoping to find out where to obtain some or all of the above mentioned missing parts. I am also hoping to find out what company built this gem and approximately when it was built. I am guessing it was built in the later 1930's or perhaps sometime in the 1940's Please help me out here with parts or information if you possibly can.

I will ship this item by removing the center hinge pin and the wheels so I can ship it in two separate boxes and prevent damage to this jewel. The eBay shipping calculator does not allow for shipping anything in two separate boxes. I did my best to trick the eBay shipping calculator regarding the shipping weight in order to give you a fairly close idea of what the domestic or international shipping costs might actually be.

I will add more information soon. Thanks a lot, Bob Woodburn - phone 406-799-1847 in Bozeman Montana
