INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1 – Wash hands before use.

2 – Gently clean the scar and surrounding skin with mild soap and rinse in clean warm water. Thoroughly dry the scar and surrounding skin.

3 – Remove Silicone Scar sheet from packaging.

4 – Ensure the sheet fits comfortably over all scar tissue leaving a small overlap onto the surrounding skin. Cut the Silicone Scar sheet to a smaller size if necessary, or you may place multiple sheets side by side for bigger scar areas.

5 – Remove the release film from the Silicone Scar sheet.

6 – Apply the Silicone Scar sheet, adhesive side to the scar, without stretching. If needed, a light bandage or adhesive medical tape can be used to cover the Silicone Scar sheet.

7 – Wash the Silicone Scar sheet, your scar, and the surrounding skin twice daily with mild non-oily soap and rinse in clean warm water. Allow Silicone Scar sheet to dry. Paper products should not be used to dry as they can adhere to the gel sheet. After drying, the Silicone Scar sheet can be reapplied.

8 – To begin, start by applying the product for 4 hours per day for the first two days. Increase to 8 hours per day for the following two days, and increase usage time by 2 hours per day until the optimal 24 hours per day therapy time is obtained.

9 – Ideally the Scar sheet should be applied for at least 12 hours per day during therapy time, and if possible not less than 20 hours per day.

10 – When the Silicone Scar sheet begins to deteriorate, or cleaning becomes difficult, it should be replaced with a new sheet. Good cosmetic effect can be achieved after continuous therapy within 2 to 4 months.

4 – If a rash or irritation is observed on the skin, reduce therapy time. If rash or irritation persists, discontinue use and consult a physician.

5 – DO NOT USE ON OPEN WOUNDS, OR WOUNDS THAT HAVE NOT FULLY HEALED.

6 – DO NOT USE IF YOU ARE ALLERGIC TO MEDICAL GRADE SILICONE.
