Please read carefully as it shows where it fits, and what EGR valve
Thanks for looking.
This blanking plate is made from 1.5mm 304 Stainless Steel, and has been rumbled to make it smooth and give it an abraded surface to get a better seal. It gives a cleaner pickup at lower revs because it stops exhaust gas being recycled, especially if it is dirty or jammed open. It can put on the engine management light, but will not put it into limp mode. I also list item number 121746865425 with a hole in to keep the light/ warning from coming on. The light can also come on if the throttle body is broken, and a plate fitted, very common on these engines. The plate fit's between the cylinder head and the EGR valve, at the back of the engine directly below the throttle body (2bolts) not easy to fit, but being slotted. The valve doesn't need to be removed to fit, the bolts are just loosened, and the plate slipped in place. It also has a tag, so that long nose pliers can be used to fit it. It does NOT fit between the EGR valve and the EGR cooler (3 bolts). This I have listed as item number 121139008166 and 111113854476 that has a hole in, and are easier to fit on some cars
It only fits the type of EGR valve pictured. Engine codes Y13DT, Z13DT AND Z13DTJ. Will not fit the Euro5 or engines fitted with motorized valve that are set in a cast Aluminium water cooled unit They are listed.-item numbers 111755392799 & 111755424729

Benefits of blocking EGR

   1.  Cleaner engine oil helping to give longer engine life.

   2.  Turbo spooling up quicker, and at lower revs

   3.  Prevents soot build up in intake manifold, and valve's, which will lower the power

   4.  Smoother drive, and quite often better economy

   5.  Will help it pass the MOT, as it helps lower the black soot output, which is checked for (UK)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR DIESEL ONLY, NOT PETROL ENGINE'S

Guaranteed next day has to be paid before 3.00pm, or it will be sent the next day. Friday's sending arrives on Monday.

All plates are designed and researched by me in house over many years. I do not buy or have ever brought from other seller (most sellers are just engineering firms that have brought from each other-along with the repeated mistakes or Chinese drop shops), and have no idea about car engines, fault codes, and what can be causing them. I have been a mechanic for many years, and my number 4 son is also a trained mechanic of some years.
