SUB MINIATURE MAGNETIC REED SWITCH
Manufactured by Crydom as their part SRG200-35-40, these are a lovely quality sub miniature normally open reed switch.
Reed switches operate when they come close to a magnetic field, thus need either a usual fixed magnet or a coil to operate.
This model has gold plated legs and rhodium contacts for optimen performance. They will switch upto 1A at 230V, and once switched are happy to carry upto 2A at 230V.
They are a non pressurised version with an action time of approximately 2mS.
Overall length including connections is 55mm, length of just the glass is 19mm and the diameter of the glass is 2.6mm
No longer manufactured, these are real quality not often seen these days.
