Tin Puss in Boots - Wind Up

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS please note that any tax on import is on top of listed price and is the responsibility of the purchaser....ie VAT, Customs etc.

Unfortunately we have had to adjust freight charges due to needing to properly track and add signature on all overseas purchases as increasingly we have had issues with untrackable parcels. Having tracking with email notifications and signature will give us all peace of mind.

What is a Tin Treasure?

Every Tin Treasure starts as a flat sheet of metal, which is printed and then cut into separate pieces. Each peice is then formed into the final shape by passing through numerous tooling stations until its final shape is achieved. The pieces are then hand assembled to create a single finished toy.

Being a very labour-intensive process, tin toy production was quickly abandoned when plastic moulding was developed. Most traditional toy makers around the world moved away from tin toy production, thus leaving only a handful of factories that still produce them. Originally Tin Toys used leaded paint. All of our suppliers now use quality safe materials in their production.

Today people from around the world seek tin toys, either as serious collectors or merely to cherish the memories of their childhood and share with others. Anyone intending to start or enlarge a collection or buy something to prompt nostalgia... should not delay. Many items are only available in short runs so are not always available. Enjoyment with quality...
