The wood is in great condition. With a finger-molded frame, these 19th Century Victorian style chairs are elegant all around. They are upholstered in an elegant beige velvet fabric with no tears. There is a small stain on one of the seats which can be cleaned. They are very attractive and can be used anywhere in the house.
