The function of a vehicles air filter is to clean the air before entering the combustion chamber. The air must be free of particles before it mixes with the fuel. The size and geometry of these filters will vary due to the specifications car manufacturers. In most cases a filters shape will be determined by the room available in the engine bay.
Overtime the filter will become clogged with dust and dirt. This will deprive the engine of the necessary air required for optimal combustion resulting in surplus fuel being discharged. Black exhaust fumes are an indicator that the filter requires replacing.
Failing to replace the air filer at service intervals can also cause debris to damage to the air mass sensor causing costly repairs.
The function of the oil filter is to clean the oil, removing it of contaminants on the way to the engine. Contaminants including dust, metal shavings, condensation, antifreeze are all blocked by the filter, preventing damage to essential engine parts without restricting the oil flow. Oil filters come in 2 different types dependent on vehicle specification. These are spin on and eco filters, both of which available from Our Store.
Oil filter replacement is dependent upon engine type, all manufacturers will provide specific guidelines for the operating life of a filter and indications when a filter should be replaced. This is why it is important to check the manufacturers service schedule. Replacement intervals are predominantly a compromise between the wish to change a filter as infrequently as possible and the need to keep filter loss of pressure at a minimum.
The lifespan of an oil filter will also depend upon the type of oil used in the engine, the engine design, how often the oil is changed and the engine performance.
The most common cause of oil filter failure is caused by neglecting to change the oil or to replace the filter.
Some oil filters are also equipped with a by-pass valve. If the filter becomes blocked and pressure build up, the valve is released to ensure the engine is still supplied with oil to lubricate it, in many engines the by-pass valve is built-in.

For European deliveries will go with DHL, UPS or DPD Express service. Anything outside of Europe will go by Air Express. If you are outside Europe and require an order to be shipped to you and you can't find your country on list, please message us via eBay system for quote.

Please note that if you have not received your order in the expected time frame, we have to contact courier company before a lost in post claim form can be put through – however this is a very rare occurrence and something we do not see happen often. We allow for three working weeks to elapse as items will be returned to the sender if not delivered within that time period.

We accept all returns within 30 days of the estimated delivery date for a full refund. Returns made after the 30 day period will not be accepted unless agreed beforehand.
We will process your refund within 2 working days but please do enclose your details in the return to help speed up the returns process. Please ensure all items are returned with their original packaging.
All returns should be made through the Ebay returns system.
