Description The M34-x series is a low voltage single output LED flashing controller IC implementing LSI CMOS technology. The output can directly drive up to 3 LEDs at the same time. With built-in RC oscillator circuit, minimal external components are required. Various flashing frequencies are available for different applications. Features · Typical 3VDC operating voltage (min 1.35V, max. 5.0V) · 1/8 duty cycle · Output current > 25mA · Flashing frequency within 20% tolerance Typical Applications Blinking badge, ear rings, greeting card, disco light, flashing torch, bicycle tail light, signal lamp, instrument indicator, car alarm, warning light, Christmas decorations and toys etc

An extremely clever little device which looks like a transistor but, with no external components can flash an LED (driven at up to 25mA). Simply connect the device as shown (Pin 1 - Vin, Pin 2 - Vout, Pin 3 - Common) and the LED will flash at a rate of once per second.
