for the Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 K8 onwards this Tail Tidy
incorporates our replacement tail tidy light. Replacing the stock
licence plate holder with a much smaller licence plate holder giving the
bike back its sporty look will fit the following

Remove seat, pillion seat and rear left seat cowling (you will have to remove 5 popper type fastenings, 3 from
top, 2 from below). Do not remove seat catch mechanism, just support cowl while disconnecting No plate
light plug.
• Disconnect No plate plug connection positioned inside rear left seat cowling.
• Undo and remove 4 OEM bolts from underneath and gently lower OEM tail-unit while feeding No plate
loom through hole and channel in under-tray.
• If not already fitted, fit new licence plate light to new licence plate bracket and secure ensuring LEDs are
pointing so as to illuminate licence plate and wires are fed through the hole in top face of new licence plate
bracket. A length of heat shrink is included in kit to cover and tidy wires.
• We suggest cutting OEM wiring plug and connecting to new licence plate light using supplied connectors.
(New No plate light wire red --- OEM grey black---OEM black/white).
• Feed wires through hole and channel in under-tray as original.
• Using 4-OEM bolts secure and tighten new license plate bracket as original.
• Reconnect No plate light wiring plug.
• Refit rear left seat cowling.
• Refit pillion seat.
• Refit rider seat.
• Check operation of all lights before use.
• Refit licence plate.
• IMPORTANT: IF FITTING A FULL-SIZE LICENCE PLATE AND PLACING IT FAR DOWN ON
THE LICENCE PLATE HANGER, THERE IS A SMALL CHANCE OF THE LICENCE PLATE
HITTING THE BACK WHEEL UNDER HEAVY LOAD AND OVER LARGE BUMPS IN THE
ROAD. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK FOR THIS POSSIBILITY AND TAKE
AVOIDING ACTION. FAILURE TO CHECK THIS COULD RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY.
