My very  early teleconverter has 7 lens elements and was made in about 1978.  This A1 converter is compatible with Nikkor lenses up to 200 mm as well as the Nikkor 8/500 mirror lens.  The glass on my lens is in perfect condition.  The barrel has very minor user marks.  The front and rear off brand covers are included.
