Note these specifications are genuine figures with LEDs tested at 20mA forward current. Some other sellers give figures that are either just made up, or from LEDs driven at 25mA or even 30mA. At that level the LED will give high brightness figures, but will not last very long, our brightness figures are at a level that the LED can be driven at indefinately.

A question we get asked all the time is "how do I connect these LEDs to a higher voltage, such as 5V or 12V?"
