WWII Era US Army Medical Corps Canvas Medical Pack - Unissued Condition 

Up for Auction is a WWII Era US Army Medical Corps Canvas Medical Pack.  This pack is in Unissued Condition.  May have some minor soiling from handling.  No rips or tears.  Complete with all straps and fasteners.  No manuafacturer markings or dates.  The bag is approximately 25" x 18" x 10" when packed as shown in the photo.  This auction is for the pack ONLY.  Pack Board pack, shown in the photo is for illustration purposes ONLY.

This is an open style pack that is designed to fold over supplies and material and be secured with the canvas straps, much like the WWI & WWII era Haversacks.  It also has attaching straps on all four corners to attach it to the Pack Frame Assembly.  These packs were used by field medics to carry medical supplies while in the field.  The last two photo's are from Henri-Paul Enjames book of US Army Collectibles, showing the medical bag, see page #225.
