- UV filter provides basic reduction of ultraviolet light, protects lens from scratches, scuffs and smudges.
- Polarizing filter eliminates reflections from non-metallic surfaces, and increases contrast and color saturation.
- The Neutral density filters enable slow shutter speeds to be used, especially with fast films, to record movement in subjects such as waterfalls, clouds, cars, seas, etc.
The neutral density filters also allow video cameras (which have fixed shutter speeds) to film subjects such as snow, sand or other bright scenes which would normally cause overexposure.
- The kit also comes with a lens pouch for added convenience, so you can safely store all your filters in one place.
