Plat map books of the 1870's frequently contained engravings of the farms and houses of prominent citizens in addition to important public and private buildings. Sometimes, "Birds-eye Views" were used to show entire communities. This double sided page is an authentic old engraving      taken from a dis-bound plat book of the state of Iowa, published in 1875.
