IMPORT DUTY & TAX

Import duties, local tax (VAT), and/or relevant fees may be imposed on your international orders. 
It is the responsibility of each customer to follow the customs laws in his/her country and to pay for the charges accordingly.
These charges are not included in our item prices or shipping fees; therefore we cannot be held responsible for any charges made by customs.


For buyers in USA:
There are no custom duties or taxes on international merchandise shipped with EMS serviced by Japan Post.
Customs are charged on merchandise over USD800.00 shipped with DHL. These charges are collected by the carrier at the time of delivery.


For buyers in the countries other than USA and Japan:
Import tax, local tax (VAT), and/or relevant fees are imposed on your orders. The charges are basically subject to how much your merchandise values.
Because tax rules and tax ratios are different from country to country and updated every now and then, we are unable to keep track of every country's regulations.
If you are not certain about how much customs are charged, we encourage you to consult with your local customs office or tax authorities for accurate information before placing an order.

RETURNS


1.  If the item shipped to you is defective/damaged or not the item you ordered, Very Best Cameras Japan, upon our discretion, may issue a refund, exchange or repair the item. 

1) All claims to this effect must be made to us within the first thirty days (30 days) of delivery.
2) Upon our consent and approval of claim, return the item as well as all original packaging and included items.

2. No returns accepted for items damaged due to negligence or misuse.

3. No returns accepted due to buyer's remorse.


-DETAILS-

(1) For item(s) reported as defective/damaged, we will forward to manufacturer for inspection and offer the best possible solution as immediately as possible. You will be reimbursed for the return postage.

(2) If the claim is that the item is defective, but the inspection conducted by the manufacturer reveals it is up to quality standard, we will send you a copy of an inspection report from the manufacturer then will issue a refund after deducting the original shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee of the item price. If we sold the item with a free shipping option, we will deduct the actual shipping costs we have paid using a JPY/USD exchange ratio for the day of refund. We will not reimburse return postage in this case.

According to our experience, initial defects to merchandise, especially brand new merchandise from the factory, is extremely rare. If the buyer (end-user) believes there is a problem with merchandise, we encourage a check with a local dealer or local service center first to make sure if the item really does have a defect or problems are due to incorrect usage. If the buyer (end-user) confirms item is defective, please contact us to return the item to us with a description of problem(s).


(3) We are unable to accept item returns due to buyer's remorse. If a buyer declines to receive the item or files a dispute (Return Request/Case) because he or she does not like the item or whatever the buyer's own reasons, we will issue a refund after deducting the original shipping costs and a 10% restocking fee of the item price. If we sold the item with a free shipping option, we will deduct the actual shipping costs we have paid using a JPY/USD exchange ratio for the day of refund.
Absolutely no refunds will be made before the item is returned to us in the original packaging.
