DescriptionA superb example of early Georgian jewellery, set in silver. Set all over with paste stones, most showing the usual black dot in the centre. All with good brightness and sparkle.
The reverse has had a replacement C catch and some thoughtless jeweller has stamped 29 on the reverse at some point. The brooch is curved, and is 2 x 1.4 inches (50 x 35mms).
Weight 27.78 grams and in excellent condition. Circa 1780. (43822grxzx)
