You are purchasing woodworking PLANS to build this house and furniture set for Barbie Dolls.  YOU ARE NOT BUYING THE HOUSE ITSELF OR A KIT.  The plans include text and patterns to build a spacious 2-room house 44" wide, 21" high at the highest point and 11 1/2" deep.  Build from common 1” x 12” pine and ¼” MDF or plywood.  The house includes an elegant fireplace with hearth, wrap-around mantel, logs and andirons.  Exterior windows at both ends of the house are bordered with decorative shutters and planters.  The 14 piece furniture set is scaled for Barbie with most patterns full size.  Rugged and easy to make.  A 3-mirror dresser is the furniture centerpiece.  Acrylic mirrors can be easily added.  Build the ornamental bed with a pillow in wood, an end table, a nightstand with lamp, a large sofa, an easy chair and coffee table.  Framed pictures can be displayed around the house to exhibit family images or trimmings from a magazine.  There is a pattern for a Vienna Regulator wall clock that with a little adjusting could be fitted with a real clock movement.  Add a coat tree and magazine rack to complete the furniture.  Custom curtains can hang from ornamental curtain rods at both windows.  Make duplicate furniture pieces or add styles of your own.  The house is open to the front for easy access.  It stores easily on end in a closet or mount low on a wall for a play area beneath and out of the way of the vacuum.  Only standard shop tools are needed to build this charming project including a table saw, band saw/scroll saw, router and drill.
