Strips by Sensative is an ultra-thin magnetic sensor designed to monitor and protect the status of windows or doors and reports the data to the smart home controller. To do this the sensor can be mounted almost invisibly on frames of doors or windows. Strips by Sensative consists of two components: The thin narrow strip is mounted on the window or door frame and the small square magnet is mounted on the movable part of the window or door.

Strips is 19,5cm long and only 3mm thin, is Z-Wave Plus certified and can also be used outdoors. Its built-in battery has a life time of up to 10 years.

Simple and invisible assembly

No need to drill or lay cables! With a little less than 3 mm, the sensor is integrated invisibly between the door / window and its frame. All you have to do is connect the Strips to a Z-Wave controller, and then use the adhesive mount to attach the magnet to the door or window and the sensor on the frame.

Batery

With a battery that has a life of up to ten years, it is easy to forget the sensor once it is mounted. However, the sensor keeps track of the remaining energy in the battery and will let you know when the level becomes low.

Connectivity

The Strips uses Z-Wave Plus technology. The Z-Wave home automation protocols enables communication between devices, Strips can comunitcate with you through your Smartphone. To do this you will need a Z-Wave controller to integrate the strips in your home network.
