Please note this machine is designed for cars
within the EU. Nearly all the scanners on ebay are designed for the
American market. When you see the list of compatible vehicles that they
offer you will see strange names such as Acura, Buick, Cadillac, Dodge
etc. These machines will not work on Renault and Peugeot and will
struggle with a lot of the cars in the EU. Also it's worth looking where
the company is based in the seller information page, normally China with
a UK warehouse. This means that when you have a problem you will have to
speak to China, and if you check their listings you will see their
grammar isn't too good which suggests their backup won't be much better!

Requires no batteries and
is built to last. Proscan suitable for real time automotive diagnostics, currently compatible with OBD2 and Can-Bus equipped vehicles. Live data is available on screen in real time and you can read all codes relating to the engine management light, view results in real time, reset the engine light, monitor and view freeze frame data. Please be assured this is a genuine unit. The scanner works on OBD2 cars form the following dates: 2001 onwards for petrol cars and 2004 onwards for diesel cars made for sale in the EU. Currently it is not suitable for vans or commercial vehicles. Other vendors claiming 1996 onwards don't have a clue about what they are selling, OBD2 was introduced in 1996 in the USA only. Most sellers claiming 1996 are based in China and can offer no support.
