Complete with five interchangeable gloved hands, 20 points of articulation, and LED light up features in the eyes and Bat signal accessory, this outstanding Die-Cast figure also includes a bat-a-rang accessory and two cloaks; one fixed plastic, and one vinyl with wiring for custom poses. The Die-Cast Batman figure from 86HERO makes a noteworthy addition to your Batman or DC collection. This unique figure captures Batman in outstanding detail.
This is the first in a line of hybrid DC figures to ever reach the market. Articulated metal figures are not something you see very often in the US market and are definitely not the kind of thing you buy kids, but they are excellent toys and collectibles. There’s a quality you get from metal that just does not happen in plastic. The Japanese market has already embraced this type of product years ago.
Review: HEROCROSS has managed to make a pretty impressive figure because the Batman Hybrid Metal Figuration #004 is almost entirely metal. Only the hands, face, shoes, pants and cape. All in all, that’s about 70% of the figure. Batman’s 5.5 inches tall and chalk full of awesome.
Let’s start off with the basics:
Paint: Almost every die cast figure usually has some paint chipping but this is not the case here. Batman is pristine. Great glossy finish and uniform paint job. The face and feet are made in plastic which adds dimension to the figure and makes the color on both parts a lot more durable and less likely to have any chipping.
Articulation: There’s over 20 points of articulation which allow you can bend the feet, rotate parts of the arms and enable Batman to hold just about every position you can put him in.
Accessories: Minnie comes complete with three sets of interchangeable gloved hands and 20 points of articulation, which easily snap onto metal ball joints.
