Description This theatre play bill was from 1989, and was for a one-man tap show by Gregory Hines. He was, in my opinion, the greatest tap dancer ever. He started tapping at age 2, and went on to star in movies, on Broadway, and many other venues. This show "Making A Big Splash" was a tour he did where he used tap not only as dance, but as percussion for music. This was before "Stomp" and other shows where percussion was done with all sorts of unusual instruments, including hands and feet. Gregory Hines was way before his time, with his beautiful artistry and magical feet. He died in 2003 from Liver cancer, way too early! He was a joy to watch.
