Start recording by pushing the ''Turn On/Off'' button to ''On'' position, the indicator light will shift from red to white, signifying recording is in process.To stop recording, push the ''Turn On/Off'' button to ''Off'' position or connect the recorder to the PC by USB interface, the white light will go off, it stops and saves the recording files automatically. After recording completes, please play the recording files on the PC.

After that, connect the recorder with computer and open the folder ''SetUDiskTime'' under the disk directory. Then double click the program ''SetUDiskTime(9X).exe'' in the folder. Then, the time of the recorder will be in sync with your computer system time.

1. Playback

Plug in headphones, push the key to the ON position to enter the MP3 state.

2. Recordings

Do not plug headphones, push key to the ON position to start recording; pushed to the OFF position to save the recording files and shut down.

* Note that when recording it can not be connected to the computer, otherwise it will cause file error.

3."M" key

Plug in headphones in playback mode, short press "-" key, you can switch MP3 playback and recording playback; in playback mode, long press "-" key to enter the volume control interface.

4. "+" "-" key

In playback mode, press "+" button or "-" button to select the file. Long press "+" key to fast forward and long press "-" to rewind. Long press "M" to enter the volume control interface, short press "+" to increase the volume and long press "-" to reduce the volume.

5.System Settings

Long press "+" and "-" button together to enter the system menu. In the system menu, short press "+" button or "-" button to select the item. Short press "M" button to confirm and long press "M" button to quit the menu interface.

1.System Time: Press "M" button to select the time position; press "+" or "-" to modify the time.  

2.Timing recording:

Timing (OFF): closing timing recording function.

Timing (open): Open timing recording function. Short press "M" button to open the function and need to set the start recording time.

Cycles: Set the number of days in a row to start recording. 

Recording Length: Set the length of time of the timer recording. 

3. VOS settings:

Voice off: Short press "M" button to confirm.

Voice Enabled: Short press "M" button to confirm.

4. Types of Recording: 32Kbps (maximum recording time), 64Kbps, 128Kbps, 192Kbps, 384 Kbps. The default is 192Kbps. 

5. Split recording: recording segment, select the length of each recording file, to avoid the file to be too large.

6. Privacy:

Password switch: After entering the password is required, short press the "M" button to select the password digit, short press the "+" "-"key to modify the number: (the initial default password is 0000); after input the correct password you can choose to open or close the password protection. If open the password protection, you need to enter boot password authentication.

Password Review: After entering the need to input your old password, then input the new password to complete the modification.

7. Delete File: short press "M" key and select delete the single file.

8. Remove all: short press "M" key and select delete the single file.

9. Language Selection: Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, English, Japanese, Korean and other twenty four languages ??can be used for selection.

6. Exit: Exit menu.

7.Shutdown

When power on, switch the button to the OFF position and it will be shut down. When recording it will automatically save the file and shut down.

Note:

Please do not connect with the computer when the recording has not saved or else the recording file will be lost.

Because of the high quality of the voice file, it will occupy much space of the flash memory. So Please remember to backup the file into computer or other storage device.
