We spend hours refurbing each machine. Each machine is stripped down to its bare components, each are then cleaned (we never use bleach when we clean our machines!)
All machines are refurbished by us, in our purpose built workshop by technicians that know the products inside out with many years of experience. We do not work from a side garage or house. We even have a showroom where we display some of our many vacuums available for sale.

Refurbishment Process
All our machines are refurbished by our team of Dyson experts in our purpose built workshop located in not so sunny Holbeach.
When we refurbish a machine it is stripped completely down to its bare parts.
We then check all the parts, if any part is broken or has excessive wear then we discard it to be recycled elsewhere.
Once all parts have been checked they are all cleaned and sanitised by hand, we have used machines in the past to do this put they are not as thorough or get the parts as clean as the Human can.
While the parts are drying we then strip down the motor, it is then cleaned and reworked. Once complete we put it in our purpose built tester and put it under load. Motors that pass this test are then fitted to our machines with a 6 month guarantee, motors that fail are recycled.
Brush bars are stripped and cleaned, bearings are replaced or lubricated.
Clutch units if fitted are stripped cleaned. Belts, bearings and white cog are replaced if needed
All electrical wiring is checked multiple times for any signs of damage or wear, again if any wire fails this test it is sent to be recycled.
Only after we are happy with all the parts being in the best condition possible we then rebuild the machine.
We fit new filters in our machine and a new belt if a clutchless machine.
While being built it is being tested and polished each step of the way. It is then given a final polish as a built machine before being sent to our testing bay.
Here the 'big boss' gives it his thorough check over and test. Once he is happy the machine has met his high standard it is sent to the PAT test bench where it has its final check over before having its PAT test, once it passes this a PAT test label is applied, along with our own label so you always have our number at hand.
We put the most into our refurbishment process as our reputation depends on it.
