This special underlay is designed and safe to use on Carpeted floors as well as high-quality natural wood floors or Luxury Vinyl tiles as it does not mark or leave any residue on your floors. Manufacturers like Amtico and Karndean do not recommend latex underlay to be used on their floors as these can leave marks whereas this microfibre polyester yarn is safe to use and will not leave any marks or residue on your floors

Please note: We do not advise using this underlay with plastic, rubber or felt-backed rugs or mats.
In some cases, the rug is not heavy enough to weigh the underlay down with its weight than the underlay although sticks to the carpet or other floor underneath thanks to gravity but the rug above can still move because it is not getting the grip of the underlay due to lack of weight and in this instance, you may have to attach the underlay to the backing of the rug either using some kind of glue or stitching so that it can prevent the rug from shifting or moving off the underlay

How to Place a Rug Pad:
1 - Remove all the Furniture if putting it on an existing Rug
2 - Make your markings on the floor around the four corners of the rug using masking tape or paper
3 - Pull Back Rug Halfway
4 - Peel the Plastic off the underlay and Place the Pad (using the marked 2 x corners of one side of the rug)
5 - Pull the half-folded rug back
6 - Repeat the process on the other End
7 - Smooth out any air between the Rug and the Pad by simply brushing your hands over the rug
8 - Remove the markings and trim any extra Pad sticking out using a standard scissor
Please note: You do not need to cover the whole of the rug back for this product to cover, 90-95% floor coverage is sufficient to work effectively
