Richard III's rule was only very short. He ruthlessly seized the crown and became King on 26 June 1483. On the 22 August 1485, he was struck down at the Battle of Bosworth, fighting Henry Tudor's army.

The white boar was Richard III's emblem during the War of the Roses.

Many of his supporters wore a board badge to demonstrate their loyalty to the king. Precious metal badges were reserved for the King's most important and powerful allies.

This pewter reproduction of Richard III's Boar Emblem is supplied on a pin with clasp. The information on the card is about Richard III's reign and his white boar emblem.
