The MAG-System™ consists of two connecting devices (one for direct play in the wand, one for indirect/reverse play with a body contact device ), 8 different body contact attachments and 21 electrode attachments. It is the apogee of our line of unique quality violet wand toys.
The idea of designing better and stronger Electrodes and, ultimately, the MAG-System™, came from so many people complaining about the lack of output power of the comparatively weak Chinese and Ukrainian wands, which are often sold as "D'Arsonval" High Frequency Units for as low as $ 25.00 including shipping, right here on eBay.
In the meantime, many people are using the DV8™ System with standard Violet Wands, be it to get maximum output for more serious applications or just for the unique sensations the different Electrode Attachments can deliver. The Electrode Attachments you find here pack several times the output power of conventional glass electrodes at the same wand setting.
Never mind what you read on Fet and elsewhere, using our DV8™ MAG-System Electrode Attachments, you get stimulation so strong with low power Chinese units (including those sold as Zeus "Twilight Wand" and KinkLab "Neon Wand"), that most people can't be treated with them at full power.

At the heart of this system is the Spark Gap Base (necessary to connect any and all of the attachments to a Violet Wand), and the Handle, to use all Electrode Attachments as Reverse or Indirect Toys, while using a Body Contact Attachment to connect the Wand to the top or bottom.
The Spark Gap Base guarantees your safety, incorporating an air gap, which the high frequency/ultra high voltage Violet Wands and Violet Ray Devices put out, can easily jump while 110V or 220V line current can't. So, if your unit ever has a catastrophic failure and line current gets to the socket of the wand, it can not get to the attachment/electrode in use and no danger for the person being treated will be caused.
SIZING
The base and all components are available in 4 sizes:
7/16" US standard size (most new and old units)
11.25 mm, which is the size of most (all?) Chinese units
12 mm for the Ukrainian "D'Arsonval" units and very few of the old West European violet ray units from the 30's to 50's (the best-known examples are Radiostat/Radiolux, Vio and Ideal).
11 mm European standard size (most new and old units). Here are a few pictures for these units, but there is a huge number of different European units out there. Nevertheless, most old European units (1980s and before) take 11 mm. Of the modern European units, all but those from Eastern Europe also use 11 mm.
Finally, there is the 10 mm size used by some of the antique units, which were made by Carl Haider GmbH, Munich, Germany in the 1930s. We do not stock units for this device, but can make them as a custom order. Please contact us if you need one.
Another great advantage of the MAG-System™ is that every size of Spark Gap Base will fit all attachments, never mind their size. If you have several Violet Wands with sockets that vary in size, you only need a separate Spark Gap Base for every Wand and the attachments can be used with all Wands.
These Electrode Attachments are as safe as any glass electrode, as they are connected via the Spark Gap Base to the Violet Wand or Violet Ray Unit. These are nevertheless HIGH INTENSITY ELECTRODES. Therefore this WARNING: Always start at lowest wand setting and be ready to remove, if stimulation is too strong. THESE ELECTRODES CAN CAUSE BURNS!
Used with regular Violet Wands, these High Performance Electrodes cause the strongest sensations you can feel from a Violet Wand unit, bar none. No glass electrode comes even close!

All components are available individually, but you can save considerably if you decide to buy the COMPLETE SET, which will be delivered with the spark gap base, one each of the 19 available electrode attachments and the body contact attachment of your choice (the default is the 4 foot regular version).

Spark Gap Base
The Spark Gap Base is what connects the accessories to the wand and insures, that you and the people you play with are safe, even if the Violet Wand has a catastrophic failure. The Aluminum Connector is precision made on a lathe and semi-transparent Nylon is used for the spark gap isolator, so you don't have to trust me that there is a spark gap, you can see it.
Handle
The Handle allows all Electrode Attachments, which plug into it, to be used for indirect or reverse play, i.e. playing with the top or bottom connected to the Violet Wand via a Body Contact Attachment. For illustration purposes, the pictures show it with the Roller Drum Electrode Attachment, which is currently not available and not included.
I HAVE SWITCHED TO AN IMPROVED HANDLE THAT IS BUILT OF ALUMINUM. IT HOLDS ATTACHMENTS BETTER AS I CAN FIT THE MAGNET WITH A NYLON BUSHING. PICURES WILL BE CHANGED SOON.
TO AVOID CONFUSION: It's listed in all Violet Wand Connector sizes, but I only do this to not screw up the eBay listing system: There is only one variation of the DV8™ Handle!

CARBON FIBER ELECTRODE ATTACHMENTS
These very soft electrode attachments will work in full contact with the skin and keep sparking. No hovering at a certain distance is necessary to get sparks, but you can lift them off the skin for highest intensity. They are easy to use and have many unique applications!
Devil's Hair Electrode Attachment
30 seconds into testing the first prototype of theDevil's Hair ElectrodeAttachment, it became my new favorite electrode attachment because of the very special type of stimulation the soft carbon fiber causes as well as its versatility and visual appeal, especially in a low light environment.
In the meantime we have added 3 further soft carbon fiber electrode attachments, "The Flag" being at the same time the largest electrode attachment ever (more information a bit further down).
The Devil's Hair electrode attachment is about 10 inches long and consists of thousands of carbon fibers. It's a contact electrode, meaning there is no need to maintain a distance from the skin. It can be extremely sensual or extremely wicked, depending on your wand setting, and works EXTREMELY WELL with the low power units. Let it glide over the body with the wand off, then, while you continue, switch it on (a foot switch is helpful there!). This electrode follows all body contours, enters all nooks and crannies (and cracks, LOL!). YOU WILL LOVE IT!
Black Mop Electrode Attachment
The Black Mop Electrode Attachment is built the same way as the Devil's Hair Electrode Attachment, but about 5-1/2 inches long and twice as many fibers.
Ideal for high intensity applications on larger body parts, but experiment with it, there is much to discover!
"The Flag" Electrode Attachment
"The Flag" Electrode Attachmentis, to the best of our knowledge, the largest electrode attachment available anywhere. It has an effective length of 19 inches, so you can stimulate the whole width of the front or back of the body at the same time. Nevertheless, the total weight is less than an ounce. there are many things you can only do with this electrode!
Made of carbon fiber with a stainless ball at the end.
"Octopus" Electrode Attachment
The "Octopus" Electrode Attachment consists of silicone covered carbon fiber "tentacles". These are conductive and do spark moderately but continuously while in contact with the skin. The front of the "tentacles" on the other hand, has a mean bite. Due to the weight of the silicone, you can lightly "whip" a person with them. You don't need to use any power for that, the strokes will be felt quite distinctly from the tips of the tentacles.
The "tentacles" are about 10 inches long.
METAL ELECTRODE ATTACHMENTS
Only stainless steel, aluminum, copper and carbon fiber are used for these electrodes, so no rust ever. Most of these electrodes work while in contact with the skin. Lift them off the skin for the strongest sensation possible.
DV8™ Copper Nerve Brush Electrode Attachment
The Copper Nerve Brush Electrode Attachmentfeels more like a solid "wall" of tingly or sparky -depending on the power setting- wires passing over the skin. Bend and form it whichever way you like. Lots of fun!
Stainless Steel Nerve Fan Electrode Attachment
The Nerve Fan Electrode Attachment creates a sensation of sparks flying from all directions. The feeling is more one of many individual sparks coming continuously from different wires.
"The Noose" Electrode Attachment
"The Noose" Electrode Attachmentis a very adaptable electrode for several different purposes. First of all, it will spark even on full contact. Nevertheless, only the Loop itself does spark, the stiff stem is fully insulated. You can therefore approach a target area and touch other body parts with the stem, but only the target area will be stimulated. The loop of "The Noose" can be adjusted in size as shown on the version with red trim. This way, body parts (for example fingers ;-) can be grabbed for stimulation. The attachment is about 12 inches long.
WARNING: This is a HIGH INTENSITY electrodes. Start at lowest wand setting and be ready to shut off, if stimulation is too strong. THESE ELECTRODES CAN CAUSE BURNS!
Flexible Ball Electrode Attachment
The
flexible Ball Electrode Attachment has a shaft of stainless steel spring wire tipped with a shiny stainless steel ball. This allows you to "hammer" the body very fast, manipulating the wand with small wrist movements, getting very fast on/off electrical and physical stimulation.
Breast Cup Electrode Attachment
TheBreast Cup Electrode Attachmenthas a stainless steel cup with a 6-3/4 inch diameter. As the name implies, it cups and stimulates the breast.
"Shock 'n Roll Electrode Attachment"
The "Shock 'n' Roll Electrode Attachment"consists of about 12 inches of Aluminum Ball Chain (total about 13") and sparks on contact with the skin. Don't be fooled by its low price: This is a great attachment! You can just let it roll and spark wherever you like, swing it, hit with it, let it fall... Many different things to do with it!
Red Devil Electrode Attachment
The Red Devil Electrode Attachmentis a very slightly flexible, plastic covered stick. It's about 7-1/2 inches long and sparks on contact with the skin. It goes wherever you put it and cleans easily with liquid dish wash.
As with all my electrode attachments, start with a very low setting to not overpower the person being treated!
This electrode is made of industrial raw material. Therefore the surface will not always be 100% aesthetically perfect.
The Ball Electrode Attachmentlooks really cool with a carbon fiber shaft and stainless steel ball at the end. Many ways to use it, just the ball, the shaft or both.
"The Rocket" Electrode Attachment
"The Rocket" attachment looks like a rocket and works like one. Well, almost! Using is fairly inclined, it sends a single, powerful spark. Holding it more in a horizontal plane, it sparks from various locations. Intense!
Branding Electrode Attachment
The Branding Attachment allows Violet Wand Branding with all Wand Devices. The tip is pointed, but not sharp, just in case you touch the skin during the procedure. The electrode can also be used for regular treatment as a High Intensity Electrode, if you move it swiftly. Slow movement will leave marks for sure!
I recommend a electro-mechanical Violet Wands over solid state (electronic) devices, if you are looking for PERMANENT BRANDINGS. Semi-permanent brandings can be achieved with all devices!
MAG-System™ Body Contact Attachments
(a Spark Gap Base is necessary to connect them to the Violet Wand!)
What they are used for:
These body contact attachments are for Violet Wand indirect and reverse techniques and for Violet Wand branding. The body contact attachment energizes you (indirect technique) or your "victim" (reverse technique) and let sparks fly from your fingers, tongue, etc.
If you don't want to feel anything, any conductive item you hold becomes automatically a Violet Wand Toy and sparks jump from it to the skin of the person you are playing with. Anything metal and anything carbon fiber will work. Thousands of items can be "perverted", You can use all your DV8™ System electrode attachments as indirect toys with the DV8™ Handle or you can select items from our extensive range of DV8™ Indirect/Reverse Toys.
There are two versions of this attachment:
Regular Body Contact Attachment
The BODY CONTACT ATTACHMENT (in combination with a spark gap base, which you need to use it) is the best body contact device available, P E R I O D ! Why?

The Spark Gap Base is necessary to connect any and all of the attachments to the Violet Wand. All sizes of the spark gap base fit all sizes of the attachments, so if you have or get additional wands with a different electrode socket size, the only additional item you need is a spark sap base in that size.
The Spark Gap Base creates a safety spark gap consisting of an air gap, which the high frequency/ultra high voltage of Violet Wands and Violet Ray Devices can easily jump, while 110V or 220V line current (mains current) can't. This guarantees your safety. If your unit ever has a catastrophic failure or you are dealing with reversed or defective wiring in a building and line current gets to the electrode socket of the wand, it can not get to the person using the wand or the bottom and no harm will result.
LENGTHS
Body Contact Attachments are available in 5 lengths. The longer the device/conductor is, the higher the loss of energy. This is true for any and all devices on the market, claims of "no loss" are simply lies. This is not dramatic, just don't buy it longer than you need.
Our construction method reduces losses considerably, but we can't change laws of physics, so buy the shortest device that will do what you need and fits your style. If you use your device only with the wand in a holster, you don't need device longer than 2 feet. If you use the device mainly connected to yourself, while the wand is resting on a table, the floor, etc. and you move around a person, you might need 6 feet.
This version of the connector gives extra protection to the ball chain where it has to work continuously with a 180º bend (from the tip of the wand pointing down up to the belt of the person wearing it).
ECONOMYBODY CONTACT ATTACHMENT
The ECONOMY BODY CONTACT ATTACHMENT is constructed identical to the regular Body Contact Attachment (see above), but with a cylindrical body contact instead of the pad.
