This is an odd set of 4 coin silver spoons. They are in the style of the 18th c. although they could be early 19th c. They are marked ZI or IZ. The drop on the back looks French or European but it has no European marks. I would say from the look of the mark it might be Dutch. But without finding other pieces it would be impossible to say if it was made by a European silversmith in America or Europe. Three of the spoons are 6 ¼” long. One is 6 long. They are in fairly good condition for their age, some light scratches, etc, and the shelves are quite intact. They weigh in total 2.55 troy ounces.

I am very interested in purchasing some European looking silver purchased in America, btw.
