The aquatint print era was a very short one, confined largely to the first part of the 19th century. All aquatint images are uncommon, it's only a question of degree. They were all printed in small numbers, they will always be uncommon. In this regard they are similar perhaps to proof issues of coins, which were always limited to begin with, more costly than typical, and many have been lost to time for various reasons.

An actual antique/ vintage printed sheet of paper, not a modern copy or reprint of an old print. The sheet could show signs of age difficult to capture digitally, but if we are offering it for sale you can be 100% certain it is entirely worthy of ownership by even the most discerning collector or dealer.
