THERMOSTAT: What you need to control this damper directly from a thermostat - from our ebay store damperdirect, order any of our Robertshaw RS series or Braeburn series thermostats thermostats (Robert Shaw item number 350432279298 is just one choice) and a 24vac plug in or hard wired transformer for power (plug in transformer is our most popular, item 350536105175). Convert damper to "Normally Closed" operation (easy to do!) and use it. Ask for a "slave zone diagram" and we will send the simple instructions on the hook-up.

ZONE CONTROL SYSTEM: What you need to control this damper for a zone control system -  use damper in current “Normally Open” - this damper is compatible with any 24vac zone control system - any brand! Many two wire spring return dampers cannot be converted from "normally open" to "normally closed".
