Universal replacement for a large variety of Gas & Electric Furnaces, Pellet Stove, and Air Handlers substitute a number of high priced replacement parts – 3/4" diameter.

This limit switch opens at temperature rise and interrupts the power supply in case of overheating at about 180º F degrees and will resume power at about 140º F (auto-reset).

This is a safety element in the heating system; if overheating triggering this sensor there is something wrong with the system (fan motor bad, air flow restricted, filter blocked, plugged evaporator and so on).
