Here we have a superb, unusual cage blown glass light shade. This really is a stunning, unique piece, it is made from a fine glass surrounded in a wrought iron cage. It has such an unusual shape, I have never seen another the same, I believe this is Italian and most probably made by Murano Seguso. I would imagine only the most skilled glass maker would be able to make this piece, it definitely screams quality. This would look fantastic hanging from the ceiling, or even used as a lamp shade or something different to put a candle/tealight under. It's that nice/unusual you could just use it as a decorative item in your home. It has such a beautiful shape the light shines through it nicely, the glass is clear but does have a pink twinge to it. Fantastic mid century, industrial, steampunk, space age look. It measures approximately  8.5 inches by 7 inches, weighing around 600g. This is the only one on eBay of course and I'm sure it won't stay around for long so get it or regret it! If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Please add me to your favourites list and take a look at my other items as I have hundreds that will be listed daily in the up and coming weeks.

Please Note;

I use new & recycled materials to ensure that your item arrives to you safely. I pack all of my items the best I can which you will see from my feedback. However, as with fragile items there is always a risk, items such as Antiques/Collectables, glass, ceramics, paintings etc are not insured for damage by any of the postal services, with the exception of The Royal Mail. This is why I offer a choice of postage options, so you can choose your preferred postage method. Collection in person is also available on all of my items. In the unfortunate, and unlikely event that something does get damaged or goes missing with the Royal Mail then I will do my very best to assist you in making a claim. I always obtain proof of postage for all of my sent items. Sadly I cannot be held responsible for the postal services poor handling of parcels. Here are a few links regarding Royal Mails compensation policies and how to make a claim if necessary.

International Buyers – Please Note:

Import duties; sometimes there will be a charge, I think this is mainly charged on high value items, this is something that the Government enforces to which I have no control of. I declare the value of the parcel as the price the item sold for plus shipping costs.

Import duties, taxes, and charges are not included in the item price or shipping cost. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding or buying.
