This beautiful one-of-a-kind 1900-1930's Armenian rug makes it's way from an ancient Armenian village in Cappadocia. It features geometric shapes and lines with the eight pointed star motif in the center medallions. The star is a symbol of good luck and spirituality. It is believed in the Turkish culture that if you see a star in your dream, it will bring you good luck. It also features a beautiful floral border atop a yellow background that enhances the burgundy colors throughout. This rug features an extremely dense, tightly woven wool pile that is great for high traffic areas. Natural dyes and colors include: burgundy, purple, yellow, green, and more.
