• The LS-P2 from Olympus is a linear PCM (WAV) and MP3 recorder capable of sample rates of 96 kHz, resolutions of 24-bit, and wireless transmission to headphones or speakers via Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. Lightweight at 2.7 oz, it's a compact and portable recorder with a Tresmic three-microphone system: two mics capture stereo at a 90° angle, while a third center microphone captures low frequencies. Its included retractable USB cable allows you to connect to computers directly as well as recharge a NiMH AAA battery sitting within its enclosure—should you opt for a rechargeable battery over its included alkaline one.

  Bluetooth Capability

  Bluetooth 2.1+EDR for short-range wireless connection to headphones and speakers. You can use an Android phone running the Olympus Audio Controller BT app to remotely control the recorder as well.

  Recording Capabilities

  The LS-P2 features a three-microphone system to capture depth, fullness, and stereo field. Two microphones are arranged at a 90° angle, with an added central microphone to capture lower bass frequencies. This Tresmic combination provides a frequency response of 20 Hz to 20 kHz when the center microphone is on and 60 Hz to 20 kHz when it is off.

  The LS-P2 supports linear PCM recording up to 24-bit and sampling frequencies as high as 96 kHz.

  Manual Level Settings and Limiter
