It can be also used for the exhaust to keeping the gasses hotter within the exhaust system. It will also help in decreasing density and increase the flow of exhaust gases. This will lead to a reduction intake temperatures.
Please note: The thermal wrap will have a short curing period. Smoke will be a natural by-product of the curing process as well as a temporary discoloration. The wrap will become discolored for a short period of 1 to 5 days, depending on the amount of heat the wrap is exposed to. Once fully cured, the color will return to normal. Color may diminish over time.
Gloves are recommended for working with glass fiber wraps

Begin wrapping and secure exhaust wrap at starting point with stainless steel tie. Overlap exhaust wrap 1/4". (Note: Bends will require a larger overlap to cleanly wrap around the distance of the bend.)
Secure exhaust wrap with stainless steel tie at the end of pipe being wrapped.
Move your vehicle to a well ventilated area and let your vehicle idle while the wrap burnishes.
The wrap will off-gas / smoke for the first few heat cycles after installation. This is normal and will stop after it is cured.
