We only use what we believe are the very best connectors in our Extension Leads and Adaptors. The BS/EN/IEC 60309 Connectors are of the Austrian brand 'PCE'. We never use cheap / flimsy 'Far Eastern' items that barely meet specifications and are, quite frankly, just not up to the job.

We always use 2.5mm sq H07RN-F Cable (NOT 1.5mm) in our 16A Extension Cables. Besides being more rugged, at times, cables end up being 'daisychained' or used in conjunction with other adaptors or splitters and, over long runs, the thinner cable can lead to unacceptable voltage drops. 

The IP44 (Splashproof) rating of the Connectors and the sub-zero capabilities of the H07RN-F Cable make this the ideal Extension Cable for both internal and external applications where it may be left out in the rain (but not submerged in puddles).

All our wiring products are Safety Tested and Certified in accordance with the IET Code of Practice for In Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment on the day of dispatch so are ready to be put straight into service.

NOTE: Just as a reminder, this Adaptor is intended to supply 'low power' Appliances fitted with 32A Plugs. If the user attempts to draw more than 16A through the Adaptor, it will still trip the Supply 16A Breaker.
