ASDC3550GPIT is a Complete Auto Sliding Door Closing Systems for Sliding Doors, Cavity Slider or Pocket door - Combining the HouseRite ASDC3550G & HouseRite Jexis CRJS101NL2 (Rev2) for a Complete Auto Sliding Door Closer system.

The benefits of a sliding door in "Hold open" mode, automatically close once, the "Push it" function is activated, this single action releases the door whilst the ASDC3550G closes the door completely.

6 Quick steps to Determine ASDC required:

Use a luggage scale to determine the force required to close the door. - If New and not yet installed ask the Door Vendor what force is required/Weight of the door etc
Connect luggage scale to intended door & pull door closed repeat the process a few (6+) times writing down the highest and lowest values each time from the start to the stop to obtain a good average.
The highest force required to close the door will indicate which door closer is best suited for the application.
If the values are repeatably high then you may have to do some maintenance (Clean, replace) the existing rails, guides, rollers etc.
If you want the Cavity Door leading edge to be Flush with the door frame (Door does NOT protrude into thoroughfare) So to release it from the Cavity the Jexis 2 ”Push it” system upgrade is recommended - No Pull Latches, Finger Holes, Large D Handles etc required . See Quick Links ending Jexis 2 below
Do NOT use Wet lubricant (WD40Silicone or Oil based lubricants etc) on door mechanism, Rollers etc - The “wet lubricant” attracts dirt, which build up over time increasing resistance causing ASDC function incorrectly increasing maintenance Use a Dry Lubricant - eg: Teflon or Graphite.

HouseRite ASDC3550GPIT - Tech Spec's:

The HouseRite Jexis 2 (PIT) Cavity Release is a neat alternative to front edge of door hardware for retrieving doors from cavity pockets with “Hold Open” Mode.
The Jexis works by charging a spring mechanism when opening the door and stowing within the recessed cavity (specifically the last 15mm).
Once the spring is charged, simply push on the door edge to release the spring catch and the door is ejected up to +/-100mm from the pocket allowing the ASDC to close the door once released.
Note: Glazed doors require available depth of 120mm.

For Sliding doors with opening ≤ 1200mm
Minimum Door Width/Thickness ≥ 28mm
For doors with a weight (±35Kg ~ ±50KG)This is only as a guide. Depending on the health Status and quality of the door ancillaries: Door Installation, Rollers, Track etc.
“Push it" feature - Whilst the Door is in “Hold Open” Mode with a single motion the door is is released, ejected from its cavity, closing automatically with No Fumbling with latches or pull holes required - Just “Push it”.

The HouseRite Jexis Cavity Release is a neat alternative to front edge of door hardware for retrieving doors from cavity pockets.
The HouseRite Jexis works by loading a spring mechanism when opening the door (specifically the last 15mm).
Once the spring is charged, simply push on the door edge to release the spring catch and the door is propelled up to 100mm from the pocket.
Note: Glazed doors require available depth of 120mm.
These are NOT compatible with the ASDC3550G Sliding Door Closers only available as a Standalone Cavity Door release only.
Hold Open Function is NOT available with this model

HouseRite provides value added benefits through ASDC units and systems to Close sliding doors automatically, as long as the critical door components are functioning correctly and well maintained the quality and health status of the slides, guides, wheel and track array, are crucial for good and long operation. We do NOT Recommend for Bathroom doors or High Moisture content areas - Moisture content would be detrimental over extended periods to the mechanics of the unit causing malfunction not covered by warranty.

***INSTRUCTIONS***

Follow the supplied Manual for full and correct Installation procedure.
Read instructions 2x before doing any modifications to the door or ASDC.
Ensure that all items and components are present as per the items list in the instruction manual.
Ensure you understand all the various aspects of the installation fully before proceeding, and that you have the correct tools to do the installation.
If you are unsure or have any questions call us or send an email.
Do NOT use Wet lubricant (WD40 etc) on door closer or Rollers - The “wet lubricant” attracts dirt the buildup of which will require more maintenance - Use a Dry Lubricant - eg: Teflon or Graphite.
Do NOT lubricate the internals or cable of the ASDC keep it clean during installation make sure all swarm is removed before installing.
Ensure correct tensioning - Do NOT let the cable Rub against anything - This will damage the cables sheath causing malfunction and is NOT covered under Warranty.

Warranty

HouseRite offers a 1year replacement Warranty for items that have failed due to manufacturing.
Warranty is held at our Facilities.
Warranty does not cover the following "Incorrect Installation" or Items "Modified" in anyway please check and ensure correct operation before doing any modifications to the equipment at all.
Damaging or breaking any of the products label/seals Voids the warranty immediately.

Items must be returned with a RMA - Available upon request.
Items returned without an RMA will be returned to sender unopened and without due processing.
Each item returned under Warranty is evaluated on its own merits - Attaching a photo and brief description can be helpful and expedite the process.
Once we have received the Warranty unit/component and evaluation of the item is completed if deemed “Warranty” a replacement item will be provided, cost of return shipping is for your account.
Should the item NOT be deemed Warranty, you will be advised and item held until pending further instructions being provided.
An inspection/evaluation fee for a Non-Warranty items will be levied and the item returned once the account, incl all costs and charges, shipping etc is paid in full.
