1989 - 1993 Ford Thunderbird All Models*

1989 - 1993 Mercury Cougar XR7 All Models*

*This cable can work with later model 1994+ Thunderbird and Cougars, also 1993 - 1998 Lincoln Mark VIII, only difference is the later model cars Ford placed a weather gasket that covers the two bolts that secure the shift cable to the shifter assembly. You may remove the weather boot from your later model year shift cable, but is not required for the shift cable to function.
