Waxwing
Waxwing is the next generation of sub-surface saltwater swimming lures from Shimano. Waxwing's provide anglers with the excitement of targeting the many fish species found in the upper water column, whether your targeting Stripers, Tuna, Blues or Albies. Available in five sizes and a variety of colors with ultraviolet reactive paint on the lateral line to further enhance their fish catching abilities. The Waxwing lures have a hydrodynamic body design, with an upper wing to make it swim in an erratic zigzag motion and a lower wing to prevent it from rolling. This erractic motion induces violent strikes from predatory species. The aerodynamics of the Waxwing make it easy to cast long distances, especially when used in the system with Terez Waxwing rods, Vermillion Red PowerPro and high-speed reels. This is a huge advantage when casting to schooling fish.
