This module provides a bluetooth device connection similar to that of a pair of bluetooth headphones. When connected to a USB power source, the module becomes "discoverable". A bluetooth broadcasting device such as most modern day phones will be able to find it. Registered as an audio output you can transmit audio data through the connection to be played through the 3.5mm output.
As with most advanced bluetooth headphones an element of control is possible. These can be accesed via the buttons on the reverse of the module.
