A:   INDUSTRIAL - This is a Heavy, all metal machine that is driven by a separate clutch motor mounted under the table and connected by a long V-Belt to the machine. Straight stitching ONLY.

B:   1 PRESSER FOOT - A Single Needle has ONLY One Presser Foot - If you have 2 Presser Feet on your machine, this is NOT a "Single Needle Machine"

C:   DROP FEED - This term really defines a SINGLE NEEDLE machine. Turn your machine slowly and observe the NEEDLE BAR that goes up and down and holds the needle. If the needle bar moves forward or backward with the material or ZIG ZAGS at all - This is NOT a Single Needle! The needle bar on a Single Needle Machine ONLY goes up and down!
