These hand-loomed grandad Kurta shirt is made from a lightweight cotton called Khaddar. The nature of this fabric is to provide a cool feeling during extremely hot weather. These traditional shirts are made with pure love and great care.

These shirts are dipped into acid and left for a while to take the colour out and make them look slightly faded. Once this rusty faded look is seen then it is been dyed to make it more vibrant. Now once satisfied with the color, it has been patched with block prints which can be seen in the shape of Om, Eyes and many other traditional symbols and lastly finished with the final touch of small round patches.

These shirts are designed for men but I see both men and women buying and wearing in my shop. Washing wise hand washing in cold water is recommended. Measurements of these shirts are below, please double-check them before you make a purchase.
