If you want to make a model ship that has super-accurate detail and a gorgeous real wood deck, there is no better way to go than this deck. It is printed on genuine aspen wood, IN COLOR, with rich tones to simulate individual plank color variations. This deck looks remarkably realistic - far superior to sheets that simply burn in a plank outline pattern using a laser. When building ships, they tend to be monotone in color, usually in greys, black, or white. This deck really POPS and adds deep color that is really attractive to the eye. The photos simply does not do this deck justice.
*This sheet is cut from a 12x24 blank. Sometimes measurements are slightly off, and there may be an unprinted edge. Usable area is guaranteed to be AT LEAST 11.5 by 23.5 inches and usually more. If you don't need a sheet this large, a smaller sheet is available. A 1/32 inch plank size looks really pleasing to the eye; any smaller and the detail gets lost. You can do the math, but this plank pattern is close to scale at 1/200. It looks fine on 1/144, 1/250, 1/350, and even 1/400 scale ships.
