This Capacitor Discharge Unit is designed to control a solenoid point motor and is assembled but the toggle switch is not soldered to the board so you can add it yourself or mount it on your control panel.

This project has a number of features:
The input voltage can be 12v AC to 16v AC.
This design works with low AC voltages - that is of the features.
The voltage is increased via a voltage-doubler on the PCB.
The white LED shows the electro's are fully charged.
The 2 lower LEDs show the position of the point.
Screw terminals for easy connection to point-motor and supply.
Toggle switch included.
The project can be used on 15v DC to 25v DC but some components
must be removed and you need to mention this when ordering.
