Truly innovative time keeping technology unlike conventional mechanical escapement, a true beat escapement has an unusual single-pallet design that measures out time in complete one second opposed to fractions determined by the balance frequency, giving exact time.

The TB88 is a tribute to John Arnold's earliest know pocket watch which the original case bears the number 88. This TB88 comes complete with Arnold & Son Box and papers, manuals. In excellent condition. Case metal is near flawless. Both sapphire crystals are flawless including the anti-reflective coating. The front features the twin barrels at the top, the balance between 4 & 5 o'clock and the true beat seconds indicator between 7 & 8 o'clock.
