Handmade Reversible Indian Jute Kilim Rugs
Authentic Natural Jute Kilim Rug - Hand Made in India by our Master weavers using ancient weaving techniques passed down for generations. The geometric, hexagon pattern has been intricately hand knotted in this large flat rug taking a few days to make it. Traditional Kilim rugs differ from the modern style of making hand woven rugs due to the way the lengths of yarn are knotted together to form the pattern. They are mainly used as decorative floor covering, wall hangings or even room separators like curtains.
Please see the images and zoom in to see how tightly the different coloured yarns have been knotted together. The yarns have already been dyed and washed to give a washed / different tones effect.
Due to the handmade nature of these rugs the sizes may vary slightly.
