Airfix Cromwell Cruiser Starter Set

Description

These are Airfix model sets of the Cromwell Cruiser.

First seeing service during the Allied Invasion of Normandy in June 1944, the Cromwell - officially named Cruiser Tank MkVI - was one of the most successful British tanks of the Second World War. Named after the English Civil War leader Oliver Cromwell, the tank proved itself effective in combat. Although it was out-gunned by German tanks, the Cromwell's reliability and excellent maneuverability made it highly successful on the battlefield. The tank remained in service until the end of the war.

The paint scheme for this particular model is the Cromwell MkI of the 5th Royal Horse Artillery, 7th Armoured Division, British Army, Europe, 1944/45.

These Airfix Starter Sets are ideal for beginners. Each Small Starter Set includes glue, a brush and four acrylic paints - all that is needed to complete a fabulous first kit!
