Engraved by Italian Francesco Bartolozzi (1727-1815) who was Engraver to her Majesty in London during that era and who is known among art historians for his "stipple" style of engraving. Signed in the plate. Colors were put in partly by a color plate and partly by brush (a very time consuming process) by R Westal, also renowned at that time. These prints are over 200 years old and in exceptional well-kept condition and color. Bartolozzi's prints are in demand by collectors and can be found in many museums.
