The Glengarry was invented by Alasdair Ranaldson MacDonell of Glengarry and is now worn by the Royal Regiment Of Scotland.
The Glengarry has a red Toorie on top. As it is without peak the Glengarry Bonnet is easily folded flat.
The Glengarry is made from 100% Wool with a Buckram cotton ribbon to the rear and bow on the side, this can be used to attach a Brooch, Clan Badge or Ploom.
The Glengarry is also commonly worn by pipe bands, but can be considered an appropriate hat worn by anyone with Highland casual or evening dress.
